Computer Recycling in the Eastern Region
With IT constantly evolving and upgrades being continually made there are old computers and other Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) in need of disposal. FlexEservices can help with your computer recycling, IT disposal and waste electrical needs in the eastern region.
Your WEEE Policy
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (WEEE), EU Directive 2002/96/EC, were adopted into UK law on 2nd January 2007 with full implementation from 1st July 2007. All electrical items have to be disposed of and recycled under the regulations, and nothing can be sent to landfill. You must use a licensed waste electrical recycler.
What we do
FlexEservices are authorised by the Environment Agency to transport, recycle and reuse waste electrical items under the WEEE directive. FlexEservices guarantee that of any waste electrical item that comes into the depot, nothing and that means absolutely nothing, is sent to landfill. FlexEservices recycle every item and reclaim all materials including plastics and glass. Everything is audited, consequently there is a fully accountable audit process in place from the point of collection to the point of disposal. Everything is track and traced. All hard drives and items with memory are either dismantled to the point that they cannot be used, or if there is value, they are USDOD cleaned and certified ensuring nothing on the units can be used.
